A Simple Clarification

For any of you that don't know, "Tox" is short of "Vantox," and though "Tox" may seem unoriginal (cause there's tons of them in the WoW armory), I assure you that I am the original Vantox. I will personally yell at you if you steal my name. That's right, I'll roll a toon on any other server with a "Vantox" on it and chew the bugger's ankles off. AKA: Don't steal my effing name! I'm proud of it, it's a good name and I created it. There's already one guy who's calling himself "Vantox" and he's stopped playing. Serves him right.

Also: The reason I'm called "Tox" is because back in the early days of my WoW career, I was in an awesome guild and moving my way up the ladder of power, but within said "ladder of power" we already had 3 different officers whose names started with "Van." I would have been the fourth. To make things less confusing I started to tell people to call me "Tox" (Bonus: it sounds cooler anyway) and we had another of the powers start to be referred to as "Vanq" (short for "Vanquishor," Good guy, ret pally, we've been through a lot together.). It stuck, I now refer to myself as Tox, all of the other officers in KF call me Tox, and the majority of my friends call me Tox, so it's not gonna be leaving any time soon. Anyone who's new to KF still calls me "Van" but they pick up Tox fairly quickly.
