Yuppers, hit 50 on Thamlack last night after 15 or so quests in the Searing Gorge. His name is Jhuuthun...or something remarkably close to that, I'll learn it soon enough. He's hilarious, but I haven't taken him for a field test yet.
You know what else happened yesterday? Well, I'm a crafter, right? So I got Thamlack's tailoring up to 350 using only materials I had on hand. That's right, I had like 1000+ netherweave cloth just WAITING to be used. And used they were. I upgraded my bags, made a couple 18 slotters as well for future use or selling purposes, and finished making the soulcloth that I needed for Dramthar's chest piece.
On a much less actual WoWing note: I've recently discovered the awesomeness of the WoW Model Viewer, so I'm thoroughly enjoying that. It'll come in handy when showing off what I either will look like or want to look like or whatever, so I'll be utilizing that for the blog at one point or another. Now I've gotta go convince Marcy to post an introductory statement. She may thoroughly out-gear me, but she probably wouldn't be as well geared and properly gemed without my help and researching capabilities. I'm kinda the go-to guy when figuring stuff out for raids and just general questing stuff. I don't really know if that's a good thing or not...I mean, ya I feel useful, but shouldn't they be able to figure that stuff out themselves? What kind of raiders go into a situation unprepared? Shouldn't they all know that they need some sort of hit rating to prevent misses or resists? Nearly all of the mages in Verve were confused on that matter, and I solved it within 5 minutes of the question...
People like that annoy me sometimes...or all the time...unless they're a friend and are just starting to raid. If that's the case then I'm more than willing to gather and divulge the information.
And I lost my train of thought. Awesome. Well, time to go play with the WoW Model Viewer.
Oh, and if you read this Marcy, you're gear is good enough for you to perform well in SSC/TK. Just letting you know.
Good Hunting,
Tox

Felguard: I wants one.
So yesterday was a "GOTTA GET MY LOCK UP A BUNCH MORE LEVELS BEFORE MY NETHERWEAVE IN THE MAIL IS SENT BACK!" day. He did fine, he's at level 48 about 50% in, and that means only 1.5 levels until he gets his mastery of Tailoring and Enchanting. And you know what? I'm sick of my voidwalker. Sure he holds aggro well, and he's served me well over the past 38 levels, but I want a felguard.
Them felguards ain't just deep blue blobs that do my bidding, they're tall and angry lookin' and always have something hilarious to say. Apparently they're the shiznit for soloing, which is kinda my specialty, so that's even better news. Plus they do way more damage than the voids and have much cooler abilities. He's gonna be my new tank when I hit 50, I don't doubt that for a second. Plus I'll probably have more inspiration to get into the 60s with him, that blueberry depresses me sometimes with all his whining.
Also: I'm now doing this "Plurk"* thing that seems to be the latest crazy in the blogosphere. There's a bunch of us from twitter in there, it's going rather swimmingly. Now we just need something to inform us while offline....
Well, I'm feeling overly nauseous, so I'm gonna go sleep.
Good Hunting,
